  • Mr. Piyush I. Majmudar

    Mr. Piyush I. Majmudar is a Fellow member of the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries, London and the Institute of Actuaries of India and is heading the Non-Life Insurance Team. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (London) & the Insurance Institute of India.

    He was a member of the Experts Group appointed by the Government of India to recommend reforms for Insurance Solvency Regulations. He has worked for over 18 years with New India Assurance Company Limited and has also worked as an Actuary and as a Training Manager with the Kenya Reinsurance Corporation, in Nairobi.

    He was associated with Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as an advisor to the National Health Insurance Program in St. Lucia. He was also an advisor to the insurance regulatory offices in Sri Lanka, Barbados, Kenya and Mauritius. He independently conducted many regulatory assignments which required dealing with all aspects of the Life and Non-Life Insurance business, and has thereby headed many teams in doing the same.

  • Mr. Dharmendra K. Pandit

    Mr. Dharmendra K. Pandit is a Fellow member of the Institute of Actuaries of India and an Associate member of the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries, London and is heading the Employee Benefits Team. He graduated in Law and subsequently joined the firm in 1973 and was thereby involved in all types of actuarial assignments related to Insurance and Employee Benefits.

    He was instrumental in designing and implementing the Pension Scheme for the banking sector and helped the firm achieve their stronghold in employee benefits. He has been working in retirement benefits for the last three decades and was instrumental in the implementation of USGAAP in one of the large private sector companies.

    He is currently on the Committee for Implementation of IAS-19 in India for Termination Benefits.

  • Mr. Mukund G. Diwan

    Mr. Mukund G. Diwan is a Fellow member of the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries, London and the Institute of Actuaries of India and is heading the Life Insurance Team. He is also a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India.

    He was working with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) from 1956 to 1991 and retired as the Chairman of LIC. His LIC experience includes actuarial, investment, policy underwriting, servicing, marketing etc. His rich experience also includes personnel administration, information technology, organizational development and corporate management.

    He was also associated with the entry of Godrej and Canada Life into the Indian market for foraying and venturing in the Life Insurance business.

  • Mr. Navnit K. Parikh

    Mr. Navnit K. Parikh is a Fellow member of the Institute of Actuaries of India and an Associate member of the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries, London and is heading the Non-Life Insurance Team.

    He has graduated in Law and has worked with the New India Assurance Company Limited for 27 years. He has also gained experience by working in the office of the Controller of Insurance for 8 years.

    He is a celebrated person in the field of General Insurance constantly updating the team and clients by advising and educating them in the latest developments and requirements for General Insurance companies and assisting the clients to achieve regulatory compliance while ensuring a profitable business.

  • Mr. Akshay D. Pandit

    Mr. Akshay D. Pandit is an Associate Member of the Institute of Actuaries of India. After graduating in Computers, he started working with the Firm since 1986 and was thereby involved in all types of actuarial work including Insurance and Employee Benefits.

    He was involved in advising a couple of potential players in the Indian Insurance Market, and made a Market survey for them. Currently he is an integral part of the Life and Non-Life teams as his knowledge and networking skills enable us to provide our celebrated services to clients globally. Because of his efforts we are able to cater to clients in countries like Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Qatar, Nepal, Mauritius etc.
